GRANT, Senior District Judge.

Before the court is an appeal from a denial of Billy Quinn’s petition for writ of habeas corpus. Following a bench trial in Cook County Circuit Court, the petitioner Quinn was found guilty of the murder of his girlfriend’s two-year-old daughter and was sentenced to a term of thirty-five years in the Illinois Department of Corrections. The Appellate Court of Illinois affirmed the judgment of the trial court,-and the Illinois Supreme Court denied Quinn’s petition for review.
