for the Court:
¶ 1. A Neshoba County Circuit Court jury found Ronald Collins guilty of gratification of lust. The victim was Mary Smith,1 who was ten years old at the time. Collins was twenty-two years old. The trial judge sentenced Collins to fifteen years in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections, with eight years to serve, seven years suspended, and five years of post-release supervision.
