Plaintiff brought this action to recover damages for injuries sustained in a building owned by defendant, Kraft Foods. The building was located on land owned by Chicago Dock & Canal Company. The latter company was not served with summons, and was dismissed prior to trial. At trial, the court granted defendant’s motion for a directed verdict at the close of plaintiff’s case, and entered judgment on the verdict.
