RUDDY, Presiding Judge.

This is an original proceeding filed in this court wherein relators seek to compel the respondent, Honorable Douglas L. C. Jones, Judge of Division No. 5 of the Circuit Court of St. Louis County, Missouri, by our writ of mandamus, to permit rela-tors to intervene in an annexation proceeding pending before respondent. Our alternative writ of mandamus was issued on relators’ petition and respondent has filed his return to said alternative writ.
