This case involves a landlord/tenant dispute over a lease of a commercial property in Broward County. The Tenant, Griffin Industries, LLC (“Griffin”), appeals a final judgment rendered following a non-jury trial in favor of the Landlord, Dixie South-land Corporation (“Dixie”). Griffin alternatively appeals and Dixie cross-appeals the amount of damages awarded. For the reasons set forth below, we affirm the judgment in favor of Dixie and reverse and remand for a calculation of damages consistent herewith.
