Kenneth E. Kemp, II, and Jerald Chli-pala appeal a final order denying their applications for attorney’s fees and costs in this guardianship case.' The issue presented is whether section 744.108(1), Florida Statutes (2013), authorizes an award of fees and costs incurred by counsel for an emergency temporary guardian and counsel for a ward who was the subject of the emergency temporary guardianship when there was no later determination that the ward was actually incapacitated and, as a result, no later appointment of a plenary or limited guardian.
