Appeal from a judgment of the County Court of Ulster County (Vogt, J.), rendered January 14, 1992, upon a verdict convicting defendant of three counts of the crime of robbery in the first degree.
Between November 30, 1990 and January 7, 1991, the City of Kingston area in Ulster County was plagued by a number of convenience store robberies perpetrated by a single individual wielding a knife.
