BROUSSARD, J.

Defendant appeals from a judgment after a jury found him guilty of voluntary manslaughter in violation of Penal Code section 192, subdivision 1, and found true the allegation that defendant had personally used a deadly weapon in violation of Penal Code section 12022, subdivision (b).

The sole question presented by this appeal is whether defendant was denied a fair trial by the court’s refusal to allow defendant to wear civilian clothes because they had not been previously submitted in accordance with a local jail rule. We agree with defendant’s contention that the refusal…
