DECISION

This matter was before the Court to determine if a sanction should be imposed upon the defendant East Greenwich school committee1 for a violation of the Open Meetings Law that had been found by Justice Melanie Famiglietti at earlier hearings in this case. On November 13, 1992, Judge Famiglietti declared that partial summary judgment should enter in favor of the plaintiff East Greenwich school teachers who had claimed that the members of the East Greenwich school committee violated provisions of the Open Meetings Law by failing to give the prescribed notice regarding a July 12, 1990…
