MEMORANDUM OF DECISION

HOLDEN, Chief Judge.

The petitioner, George J. Hohman, has instituted this action against certain Vermont correctional officers to obtain a writ of habeas corpus pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2254. The defendants answered the complaint. At the time of the initial hearing, when the defendants produced the applicant, the Attorney General of Vermont was directed to supply a transcript of a hearing before the Supreme Court of Vermont which lies at the root of one of the petitioner’s claims that he is unlawfully held in custody by the defendants.
