DYER, Circuit Judge:
These appeals are before us for the third and hopefully final time in the protracted litigation over the purchase of certain oil leases and a gathering system in or near Mobile County, Alabama. As in each of the two previous appeals, the questions presented do not concern the merits of the dispute, but instead ask us to decide the forum — state or federal — in which the “main” battle should properly be joined. We find that the district court’s refusal to enjoin the pending state court proceeding and its recognition of the res judicata effect of that court’s final judgment…
