An information was pi’osecuted by the district attorney of the Twenty-Fourth judicial district of the state of Louisiana, charging J-ohn Coleman with having committed corrupt and willful perjury.
After due trial before the court-and jury, he was found guilty and sentenced to serve in the penitentiary at hard labor for six months.
