MEMORANDUM OF DECISION AND ORDER

On September 8, 2010, John T. Corpac, on behalf of himself and a putative class (the “class” or the “Plaintiffs”) commenced this action against the Defendant Rubin & Rothman, LLC (the “Defendant”) pursuant to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, 15 U.S.C. §§ 1692 et seq. (the “FDCPA”). The Plaintiffs allege that the Defendant violated the FDCPA by sending written collection communications that falsely represented or implied that an attorney had meaningfully reviewed the Plaintiffs’ account and was meaningfully involved in the decision…
