Petition by Maria S. Lancy for the registration of her title to certain land in Provincetown alleged to be owned by her and to be claimed by Anna C. Snow under a sale and conveyance made by the collector of taxes of that town, filed in the Court of Registration September 26, 1899. The Court of Registration made a decree of registration of title in the petitioner, and the respondent appealed to the Superior Court, where the case was tried before Sherman, J., without a jury.

This case comes before us on a report from a judge of the Superior Court, and the respondent contends that by reason of the St. 1898, c. 562, § 14, and St. 1899, c. 131, § 2, the judge had no right to make the report. But there is nothing in these statutes that takes away the authority given by the Pub. Sts. c. 153, § 6, and the St. 1900, c. 311. The case is rightly before us on the report.
