Creamer McDaniel was injured while loading coal in the mines of Pocahontas Fuel Company on August 22, 1934. In 1903, while working for the same employer, he had suffered an injury to his left arm, resulting, in its amputation at the shoulder. Upon his application for compensation due to the injury of August 22, 1934, he was given a twelve per cent award which, after hearing, was increased by the Commissioner to fifteen per cent.
