¶ 1. Aggrieved by the chancellor’s determination that a 1984 chancery court adoption order was void ab initio, and that, therefore, the adopted children of the decedent’s son, William C. Gartrell, III, were not the decedent’s lawful heirs, Diane M. Gartrell, the natural mother of the children adopted by her late husband, appeals to us. Finding that the Appellee, M.
