This is an action on the case brought by appellee, Elmer E. Jones, against appellant, the Chicago, Bock Island & Pacific Bailway Company, to recover for personal injuries sustained by him by being struck by a passenger train of appellant while crossing its track on a public highway near Joliet Mound in Will county. Upon the trial appellee obtained a verdict for $1,600.
