Here, we consider the case of defendant Bobbin Davis, who was found guilty of violating the armed habitual criminal statute after a jury trial and sentenced to Pje years in prison. On appeal, defendant asserts that (1) the trial court failed to comply with Illinois Supreme Court Rule 431(b) (eff.
