OPINION

Justice ROBINSON for the Court.

The defendant, Robert Silvia, appeals from a jury verdict finding him guilty of the second-degree murder of Joseph Lima. As a result of this conviction, the defendant was sentenced to a term of sixty years — forty years to be served at the Adult Correctional Institutions and twenty years suspended, with probation.

On appeal, defendant argues that the trial justice erred in (1) restricting defense counsel’s cross-examination of a particular witness; (2) admitting into evidence Mr. Lima’s bloody and cut clothing and also admitting testimony by a paramedic as…
