Commonwealth v. Battistella

On January 20,1964, upon petition of defendant, a writ of certiorari was issued by this court directed to Albert G. Diehl, Sr., Justice of the Peace of Hempfield Township, Westmoreland County, Pa. The writ required the said justice to forward to this court the record of the proceedings before him in this case. Justice Diehl, in response to the writ, has forwarded to the court for its review the information, the transcript of the docket and all pertinent notations in his file.
