*230 ¶ 1 Following a 2016 bench trial, defendant, Derrick Macklin, was convicted of *1249 *231 armed robbery involving the personal discharge of a firearm causing great bodily harm ( 720 ILCS 5/18-2(a)(4) (West 2010) ) and sentenced to 40 years' imprisonment. The only argument Macklin raises on appeal is that the State did not sustain its burden to prove him guilty beyond a reasonable doubt because the eyewitness testimony implicating him should not have been believed by the trial judge.
