The appellant does not bring, forward into his brief or cite therein any authorities in support of his assignment of error with reference to the overruling of his motion to set aside the verdict as being against the greater weight of the evidence and, on that ground, to grant a new trial. Such assignment is, therefore, deemed abandoned. Rule 28, Rules of Practice in the Supreme Court.
