Defendant Stephen Jeffrey Regen (“Re-gen”) is the subject of a petition filed by the United States Probation Office alleging that Regen has violated the conditions of his supervised release. Regen moves to dismiss the petition and terminate his supervised release on the grounds that the term of his supervision had expired before the issuance of the summons requiring him to show cause why his supervision should not be revoked.
