Following a jury-waived trial, the defendant was convicted of operating a motor vehicle after his license had been revoked for operating while under the influence of alcohol (G. L. c. 90, § 23, second par.). On appeal, he contended that the motion judge erred in denying his motion to suppress evidence obtained as a result of an allegedly unlawful stop.
