This is a suit in equity to enforce a vendor’s lien on a title bond.
The complaint states that the plaintiff, R. L. Dodge, being the owner of the south half of block No. 246, west of the Quapaw line, in the City of Little Rock, did on May 1, 1868, sell the same to the defendant Charles- Schearff, for the sum of $800, and thereupon executed to the said defendant a bond for title thereto, conditioned that upon the payment of the purchase-money as agreed and specified in said sale, and the building of a house upon the property as stated in the title bond, together with all future…
