This is a landlord-tenant dispute in which Dwaine Halverson appeals a partial summary judgment and judgment after trial. Three issues are involved: (1) which statutes are to be used when a lease with a term of more than one year is challenged as unenforceable under the statute of frauds; (2) what, if any, remedies exist in light of a statute of frauds defect; and (3) was the evidence sufficient to prove unjust enrichment.
