— In a negligence action to recover damages for personal injuries, plaintiff appeals from a judgment of the Supreme Court, Kings County (Clemente, J.), dated April 25,1983, which, upon a jury verdict, awarded judgment in favor of defendants the City of New York (city) and the New York City Transit Authority (transit authority).

Judgment reversed, on the law, and new trial granted, with costs to abide the event.
