On October 24, 1944, complainant filed with the Office of Price Administration its protest against Revised Maximum Price Regulation No. 169 — Beef and Veal Carcasses and Wholesale Cuts, effective December 16, 1942 (7 F.R. 10381), and Revised Maximum Price Regulation No. 239 —Lamb and Mutton Carcasses and Wholesale Cuts, effective December 23, 1942 (7 F.R. 10688). It described itself as engaged, in Buffalo, New York, “in the slaughter of calves and lambs and in the sale of veal and lamb carcasses and wholesale cuts”.
