This is an appeal from a verdict of the Circuit Court of Forrest County, convicting Frank Dozier o'f manslaughter and sentencing him to ten years in the state penitentiary. The jury verdict was, “We the jury find the defendant guilty of manslaughter and ask for the leniency of the court.” •

The assignment of error is in reference to the requested instruction for a directed verdict, and too, the contention that the verdict of the jury was contrary to the overwhelming weight of evidence.
