Court of Appeals of the State of Georgia ATLANTA,____________________ September 23, 2025 The Court of Appeals hereby passes the following order: A26A0304. AMIR IBAN SHORT v. THE STATE. In February 2024, Amir Iban Short was indicted on sixteen felony counts. In August 2025, Short filed a motion to quash the indictment. The trial court denied the motion, and Short filed this direct appeal. We lack jurisdiction. Under OCGA § 5-6-34 (a) (1) (B), direct appeals generally may be taken from “[a]ll final judgments, that is to say, where the case is no longer pending in the court below[.]” A criminal…
