Iowa State Senator Charles Bruner and State Representative David Osterberg, along with five public interest groups who shall be collectively referred to as “petitioners” have joined with the Office of the Consumer Advocate in this appeal from a district court decision dismissing their petition in equity under Iowa Code chapter 22 (1985), Iowa’s examination of public record statute.
