This is a submitted controversy. . A Massachusetts corporation issued a policy of life insurance in consideration of a premium paid by Sophie S. Pool, “being'the assured in this policy,” and of a like sum to be paid annually insuring the life of her husband. The company therein agreed with the “ said' assured, her executors, administrators and assigns,” to pay the said sum insured to the “ said assured, her executors, administrators and assigns.” It was further provided that the policy did not take effect until it was signéd and the premium was settled for according to the rules of…
