The petitioners, owners of land in Sharon, brought this petition in the Land Court pursuant to G-. L. c. 240, § 14A, and c. 185, § 1 (j 1/2), to determine the validity of a zoning by-law, which was amended by the town meeting on March 13,1961, and in part reads: ‘ ‘ Section 13. In the Single Residence Districts Rural, there shall be provided for each dwelling hereafter constructed a lot containing not less than one hundred thousand (100,000) square feet and having a width of not less than two hundred (200) feet.” The judge in his decision purported to “find” that “upon taking into…
