Oftentimes the measure of success that distinguishes experienced bankruptcy counsel from attorneys who perform nonban-kruptcy-related services for a debtor is their obtaining a fee while funds are available. In this case the debtor’s experienced bankruptcy counsel, Levin & Weintraub, successfully applied for an interim allowance, as permitted under Code § 331, before the Chapter 11 case under the Bankruptcy Code was converted for liquidation purposes to Chapter 7.
