Appellants Nelson County Schools and CompManagement, Inc. (collectively, “employer”) appeal from a decision of the Workers’ Compensation Commission awarding medical benefits to appellee Brenda Ann Woodson (‘Woodson”) pursuant to Code § 65.2-603. The sole issue on appeal is whether the commission erroneously concluded that Woodson could recover medical benefits notwithstanding her failure to specifically request medical benefits in her application to the commission.
