The appellee, E. S. Hough, recovered in this action of the appellants, Mobile and Ohio Eailroad Company, and Walker D. Hines, then Director General of Eailroads in the United States, a verdict and judgment of $600.00, by way of damages, for the loss of two mules owned by him alleged to have been killed by a train of cars of the appellant, Mobile and Ohio Eailroad Company, through its negligence and that of its servants.
