In February, 1991, Terry Nazarenus was indicted on two counts of aggravated sexual abuse. He was arrested, arraigned, and subsequently released on bond. A superseding indictment alleging three counts of aggravated sexual abuse was filed in August, 1991. Following a series of continuances requested by the government so that DNA and other forensic testing could be completed, a four-day jury trial was held in February, 1992. Nazarenus was found guilty on two counts of aggravated sexual abuse under 18 U.S.C. § 2241(a). Nazare-nus appeals his conviction. We…
