SMART, Judge.

This case, which arises out of a collision between a ear and a nine-year-old girl riding a bicycle, requires that we address issues related to the degree of care which must be exercised by a child bicyclist and the reference point of that standard of care. Tami Root, by and through her next Mend, Paul Root, appeals the trial court’s entry of judgment after a jury verdict allocating five percent of the fault in a collision to the defendant, Robin Mudd, resulting in a $600.00 judgment in Root’s favor.
