Respondent was admitted to the practice of law by this Court on December 7, 1966. On October 23, 1996, respondent was convicted after a jury trial in the Federal District Court for the Northern District of New York of conspiracy to commit bank fraud, bank fraud and corrupt offering of commissions for *64procuring loans, in violation of 18 USC §§ 371, 1344 and 215, respectively.
