OPINION OF THE COURT

SCHENCK, Senior Judge:

A military judge sitting as a general court-martial convicted appellant, pursuant to his pleas, of missing movement by design and disobeying a superior commissioned officer (two specifications), in violation of Articles 87 and 90, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 U.S.C. §§ 887 and 890 [hereinafter UCMJ]. 1 The military judge sentenced appellant to a bad-conduct discharge and fourteen months confinement.
