On the 4th day of April, 1933, the relator, Mary Zupanice, was committed to the custody of the sheriff of the county of Tioga by a justice of the peace of the town of Richford. The judgment of conviction, after reciting the venue and the title of the case, read as follows: “ Above named Mary Zupanice having been brought before [Name of the justice], a Justice of the Peace of the Town of Richford, N.
