This was an information in the nature of a quo warranta, brought in the name of the People of the State of Illinois, by the State’s attorney of Morgan county, on the relation of Louis A. Malone, a tax-payer and legal voter of the city of Jacksonville; charging Thomas S. Knowles with usurping the office of president, George W. Smith, John O. Widenham, Ethelbert D.
