The appellant, Edward L. Prokos, was charged with theft of property in violation of Ark. Stat. Ann. § 41-2203 (Repl. 1977). The charges arose out of a transaction in which the appellant allegedly sold the rights to an exclusive Arkansas distributorship of chemical products to Harold Parks for SI5,000.00. The information alleged that the appellant “did unlawfully, feloniously, take unauthorized control over property having a value in excess of $10,-000.00. ...”
