In this asbestos case, Georgia-Pacific Corporation seeks reversal of a judgment on a jury verdict against it and in favor of appellees, Fred and Betty Stephens. The Stephenses sued Georgia-Pacific and other defendants after Fred developed mesothe-lioma, alleging that he contracted the disease in part as a result of his exposure to Georgia-Pacific joint compound during the years he worked as a commercial painter.
