This is an action of contract by the plaintiff, as administratrix of the estate of her deceased husband,- to recover a funeral fund of $200 claimed to have become due and payable on the death of her intestate. The defendant is described in the writ as “a fraternal corporation, duly organized by law, with its usual place of business in Boston.” It appeared that the purpose of the defendant association is to pay a death and funeral benefit not exceeding $200.
