These four defendants were indicted jointly with one Angelo Cadero (as to whom the indictment stands continued) for the murder on October 3, 1934, of one Luigi Girgo. The indictment subsequently was amended without objection by adding after the name Luigi Girgo the words “otherwise called Luigi Galetta.” G. L. (Ter. Ed.) c. 277, § 35A. Commonwealth v.
