BREITENSTEIN, Circuit Judge.

Petitioner-appellant sought federal habeas corpus relief from his state court conviction of first degree manslaughter after a jury trial. The conviction was affirmed by the Oklahoma Court of Criminal Appeals in an unpublished opinion. Petitioner then pursued state post-conviction remedies. A state district court denied relief and its action was affirmed by the Oklahoma Court of Criminal Appeals. Having exhausted his state remedies, petitioner then filed a federal habeas corpus action in the Eastern District of Oklahoma. He appeals from an adverse ruling of that…
