Reynolds sued the Waycross Air-Line Railroad Company for damages, alleged to have been sustained by him in consequence of injuries received by the falling of a telephone pole forming a part of a telephone line owned and operated by the defendant company, which pole he, in the course of his employment by the company as a lineman, had ascended for the purposqof repairing a broken telephone wire.
