*614 Defendant Christopher Allen McKiver appeals from the judgment entered upon his conviction for one count of possessing a firearm as a convicted felon following a jury trial in New Hanover County Superior Court. McKiver argues that the trial court committed reversible error, in *615 violation of his rights under the Sixth Amendment to the United *87 States Constitution to confront the witnesses against him, when it denied his motion in limine to exclude evidence of an anonymous 911 call and the subsequent 911 dispatcher's call back.
