LOGAN, Circuit Judge.
Patricia G. Carey filed a voluntary petition in bankruptcy pursuant to Chapter 7 of the Bankruptcy Code. Marine Midland Business Loans, Inc. (Marine Midland) filed objections to her discharge and her home stead exemption claim. The bankruptcy court granted Carey’s discharge and the district court affirmed. Marine Midland appeals this decision. The appeal presents questions of what prebankruptcy financial activity is permissible to take advantage of a statutory homestead exemption.
